These are the Strangest Oceans in our Galaxy
An ocean doesn’t have to be water – in fact it doesn’t even have to be liquid – in the normal sense.
From charged plasmas to supercritical liquids forming at extreme pressures and seas of lava, tar or methane to hypothetical oceans of liquid ammonia - the great oceans on our Earth are just one example of the numerous oceans in the universe.
Further observations and investigations could reveal the strange may not be so strange.
